We celebrated Labor Day at Lake Malone with Nathan and Rachel. We both had our parents keep the kids so we could kick back and relax without worrying about someone drowning. It was such a fun day at their lake cabin!
I don't have any pictures of the guys, just pictures of their wives :) We love lake days with our best friends!
One of my favorite memories of their childhood thus far was the year they were able to attend OWL Academy together. Jack was three and Georgia was five at the time. There are hardships to having kids close in age but the ability for both of them to do the same activity on the same day at the same time is a wonderful thing.
Their first day and they were so excited for the school supplies!
Baby Jack, Georgia and our friend Ava
The classes are grouped based on age so in order for them to be in class together, Jack had to be in the five year old classroom. He was the baby of the group and he learned so much from the big kids by watching their example.
Center time-sis "reading" a book
All I remember about this craft was the challenge of helping two preschoolers cut and glue at the same time ha!
All smiles at the end of the first day! We are so thankful for OWL Academy.
This was a picture that my sister sent us of our nephew Bo at a nursery school in Turkey. He was able to attend this class while they went to their missionary classes. I love this picture of him!
We spent a lot of our time in September visiting and loving on our new nephew, Wick.
Here he is using Georgia and Jack's baby swing, of course I had to take a picture
They came to visit us one evening and I got my baby loves in
Another fun day at OWL Academy!
One of my favorite pictures of our boy. Always bright eyed and always a mimi close by.
Georgia and I attended our cousin Ashton's wedding. It was a beautiful barn wedding out in the country. Georgia loves weddings, she never turns down an invitation! We had a wonderful time celebrating Ashton and Travis.
The new baby cousin had Jack practicing his baby skills. Maybe someday.. :)
This was an evening that Georgia had dance class and my vehicle broke down on us. We walked to a Taco Bell close by and waited for daddy to come and get us. It's a sweet memory for me of a stressful situation that we made the most of by eating tacos :) I'm sure there's a better sentiment of a life lesson but eating tacos to relieve stress works too.
