Jack played his last season of t-ball over the spring/summer. He was ready to move on to the next league but we sure enjoyed his tball games! He learned a lot about the game and has grown to love the sport. I'm thankful for his coaches for sacrificing their time for a lot of chaos and confusion :)
One season ends and another begins, rookie league here he comes!
A proud mama with her handsome big boy!
While Jack spent time on the ball field, Georgia enjoyed 4-H summer day camps. They offered five days of classes over the summer that was right up her alley. She's already decided she wants to go to 4-H camp next summer since she will be going into fourth grade. I think she will be ready, mom and dad on the other hand will not be.
Painting, cooking, outdoor fun, crafts-she had fun!
Just a candid moment of life with a baby when you're out and about. Sweet boy is always ready to get his butt clean, he doesn't like being poopy!
A sweet lunch date with cousin Brennan. He's growing up on us!
We tried to do a garden this year but we had a lot of things working against us! It wasn't a successful year but we will keep at it and hopefully can have a bigger garden someday when the time and soil is right.
Matching suits until they tell me no :)
Living her best life!
My best nurser of the bunch. Feeding him was the easiest part of his baby days and the most rewarding for me. I already miss this!
In May, we picked mamaw's strawberry patch. It was sad to do it without papaw but he would be proud we kept it going. John boy was dirty but big brother added a little to the mess ha!
A practical baby carrier to keep me hands-free! Goodness I don't want him to grow up.
Mamaw and some of her great-grandbabies. We always have the best days with her.
We squeezed a pool party in for Jack's birthday between covid surges and had a big turnout. This is a three year tradition for him and I really love the ease of an outdoor pool party! We did a simple ninja turtle theme with pizza and donuts, his choice. It was exactly what he wanted!
Another summer tradition-Chaney's Dairy Barn ice cream and a moo-vie night. Aunt Shanna and Wick joined us this year, it's always such a fun night we look forward to.
Girls night for Ash's birthday! We are rarely all together kid-free and it was the free evening we all needed. Love these sweet friends of mine.
John attended his first Board meeting with me. It was also probably his last. He was headed for the stage.
Georgia started gymnastics class this summer and LOVES it. She wants to be a cheerleader and enjoyed getting to practice tumbling and learn new gymnastic skills.
Jack lost his first tooth!
Sweet baby crawling all over the porch and enjoying being outside
Skincare has become a priority for me. I'm not getting any younger and I'm trying to correct some skin issues that I battle. I had some microneedling with PRP sessions done at the end of summer and was really happy with the results. Mommy definitely needs some self care after three babies and 34 years have taken its toll.
John had the cutest shark float this summer for his pool days
He was a big fan of the pool! Bath, not so much.
All smiles and splashing
He continued with his social media fame appearing on Casual Friday's insta stories. He loved his days with Payt being spoiled rotten!
Georgia faced her fear and held the frog we named Johnson! He kept showing up on our porch almost every night and became like a pet to us. I was proud of her!
Jack and daddy went to the Harley drags with Pa in July. Jack come home with all kinds of trinkets and stories.
His favorite pasttime-playing in Owen's food bowl
Sweet boy cousins
