October 2017

Kayla Kiper took pictures of the kids in September but I didn't receive them until October, thus the October documentation :) I loved this session. She was able to get some genuine smiles and they thoroughly enjoyed the shoot! It was a beautiful evening and setting, I just love how they turned out.

This one will be one of my favorites of them from their childhood <3
There's an amazing five second video to go along with this screenshot of Jack saying "cheese" impatiently to Kayla. It's hilarious!

It doesn't get any cuter than this

Georgia had a play date with our cousin, Audrey. They had the best day playing together!

I love her little folded hands under her chin and Audrey's big toothy smile

Frozen for life!

Just a mama and her best boy rocking at bedtime

It's not October until we take a trip to the pumpkin patch!

We go to Jackson's Orchard every year for our pumpkin fix. It was unseasonably hot this day and we were wishing we had made different wardrobe choices.

Gammy joined in on the fun!

You can see the hot and bothered expression on Georgia's face ;)

We had a wienie roast at Auntie and Uncle Pakky's. Georgia had picked out her own outfit!

We made it to a UK football game this season and had a great time!

Celebrating Mamaw Carolyn's 77th Birthday <3

Georgia was sick and we were doing our best to keep sister and brother separated. I caught them talking and waving to each other from one room to another. Precious babies!

We play outside all year long! If the suns out, so are we.

She wanted a leaf pile, a Georgia sized leaf pile

Mommy and sis being goofy with selfies!

She's better at selfies than anyone I know!

 Dress up fun

My friends and I have an annual tradition of attending Glendale Days, it's so much fun!

Denise and I were the only ones free to go this time but we didn't let that stop us from having fun and finding some good deals! Our annual picture with the silo :)

October is a special month at Aunt Kay's with lots of festivities related to fall and Halloween. They had their annual pumpkin carving activity to guess how many seeds and feel inside the pumpkin.

AKK crew 2017

A sweet facetime moment I captured when facetiming Aunt Paige, Uncle Eric and Bobee in Turkey!

The Sanderson Sisters for the AKK Halloween Party! They looked awesome!

Halloween 2017: Jack-Captain America, Georgia-Winifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus)

She really looked the part! Her Gram made the cape and Ma supplied the accessories.

Some years coordinating sibling Halloween costumes are cool. Sometimes letting them choose what they want to be and embracing it is even cooler :)

September 2017

We celebrated Labor Day at Lake Malone with Nathan and Rachel. We both had our parents keep the kids so we could kick back and relax without worrying about someone drowning. It was such a fun day at their lake cabin!

I don't have any pictures of the guys, just pictures of their wives :) We love lake days with our best friends!

One of my favorite memories of their childhood thus far was the year they were able to attend OWL Academy together. Jack was three and Georgia was five at the time. There are hardships to having kids close in age but the ability for both of them to do the same activity on the same day at the same time is a wonderful thing.

Their first day and they were so excited for the school supplies!

Baby Jack, Georgia and our friend Ava

The classes are grouped based on age so in order for them to be in class together, Jack had to be in the five year old classroom. He was the baby of the group and he learned so much from the big kids by watching their example.

Center time-sis "reading" a book

All I remember about this craft was the challenge of helping two preschoolers cut and glue at the same time ha!

All smiles at the end of the first day! We are so thankful for OWL Academy.

This was a picture that my sister sent us of our nephew Bo at a nursery school in Turkey. He was able to attend this class while they went to their missionary classes. I love this picture of him!

We spent a lot of our time in September visiting and loving on our new nephew, Wick.

Here he is using Georgia and Jack's baby swing, of course I had to take a picture

They came to visit us one evening and I got my baby loves in

Another fun day at OWL Academy!

One of my favorite pictures of our boy. Always bright eyed and always a mimi close by.

Georgia and I attended our cousin Ashton's wedding. It was a beautiful barn wedding out in the country. Georgia loves weddings, she never turns down an invitation! We had a wonderful time celebrating Ashton and Travis.

The new baby cousin had Jack practicing his baby skills. Maybe someday.. :)

This was an evening that Georgia had dance class and my vehicle broke down on us. We walked to a Taco Bell close by and waited for daddy to come and get us. It's a sweet memory for me of a stressful situation that we made the most of by eating tacos :) I'm sure there's a better sentiment of a life lesson but eating tacos to relieve stress works too.
