Spring Fling of Pictures

Covid memories. Visiting friends and going on a golf cart ride. Baby Collins was due in a few months here!

When we were in the mountains at Christmastime, we ate at a fantastic restaurant called Five Oaks and I fell in love with their tall Ball jar glasses. Marcus surprised me with a set for my birthday. Seriously the perfect gift. I love him!

The fam minus Jack (he wanted to stay with Gram and I didn't push it) went to Nashville on my birthday this year to eat and shop. We haven't shopped in stores since covid to speak of so it was nice to do this even though I'm not a big shopper. John boy was a trooper.

I bought some mom jeans from Abercrombie. What an oxymoron as this is the store I shopped at as a teen and haven't much since then until now and it was for high-waisted, tummy control jeans lol! Life is weird. I love these though.

A pic with all my babies on my 34th birthday. Each birthday I become even more blessed.

My sis and I went for a jeep ride that evening and had a blast for the 30 minutes we had kid-free :)

Georgia- "I love having a best friend as my next door neighbor"

April family birthday celebration at our house

And a retirement celebration all in one! Pa is officially a retired man. After years of wearing a hard hat as a coal miner, for IMCO and for Logan Aluminum, it's his time to rest and relax. He's loving it and staying busy fixing things and cleaning up cars. Congrats, Pa! You deserve to enjoy your retirement years.

Our first Sunday back to church-April 2021. John's first Sunday!

A picture with my boy on his sixth birthday. He is growing so fast. He will be taller than me before I'm ready for it.

Sweet girl is adjusting to life with braces. She misses popcorn and soft drinks the most. She is following the rules and taken great care of her teeth. I’m so proud!

Jack and John as babies being pushed by Georgia in baby doll strollers.  I usually think they favor but in this side by side they have their own looks.

I’m tight and I’m stubborn and I own both of those qualities. I’m sure those qualities are the reason I’ve lived with a rug for almost seven years that I didn’t like. I finally gave in and bought a new one and it’s made me all kinds of happy. I’m hoping it holds up better than the last!

A clean playroom cleaned by the big kids, which makes it an even bigger delight! ;)

Sister spent the day with Brinley on her birthday having a fun girls day. It SNOWED this day, April 21st, 2021. These past two years have been weird!

We said goodbye to Kat as our babysitter in April due to her upcoming surgery. We were all sad about it but thankful for the days John Parker had with her. Of course our friendship will live on! She’s one of my favorite people.

Expander and braces are doing their jobs and already shifting teeth around and creating gaps. I think she could be a braces model!

Ruthie Joy’s first birthday. She’s one of our two covid babies with newborn days spent with just close family. We’ve raised these two a lot different than our first kids and in some ways it’s been a nice slow down and time for privacy. This girl keeps us laughing with her judgy eyes and sass!
